Mini-THON is just 8 days away and there is still time for you to become part of this whole school event. When we are trying to raise money for a cure for childhood cancer, there is no turning anyone away. Mini-THON wants this year to be the year that EVERYONE participates. Just to recap what will go on during Mini-THON, here is a list: teachers in a dunk tank, a wipeout 8 person inflatable, tug of war, Chick-fil-a dinner, drinks and snacks, glow dance, 9 square, yard buckets, gaga pit, volleyball, the elementary school parachute, yard games, the line dance, a candle-lit walk honoring those with cancer.

How can you possibly not want to be a part of all that?

Let’s not forget the team challenges. Right now, 8 White, 7 White, and 6 White are all short of their team goal. Here is what you get if you hit your mark:

    8White

-Brownies baked for the whole team

-Ms. Smith will teach and speak in a British accent all day.

-Mrs. Kleese will dye her hair purple

-Mr. Clark will pick up the top two sellers before school and pay for a Dunkin breakfast on their way to the middle school

-Mr. Vance will teach the day in a surprise inflatable costume

    6White

½ day fun in the sun

Top 5 earners pie a teacher

Top 5 earners paintball Mr. McCauslin

    7 White

Teachers will teach in inflatable costumes

There is so much fun to be gained by being part of this year’s Mini-THON. Don’t be the kid on Monday morning who says, “I wish I went to Mini-THON.” There is still time, BUT not a lot of it.

    THON on, my friends.
