My name is Mrs. Hoffman, and I am the Reading Teacher for fifth grade at SME. I am so excited for our year together! This is my fourth year teaching 5th grade at NYCSD.  Before Northern, I taught 6th grade for three years, and prior to that I taught kindergarten for two years in South Korea!

     I have two boys at home, Nolan (4) and Oliver (almost 2). My family is very important to me, and I'm sure you'll hear plenty of stories about my kids, my husband, and my puppy, Guinness.  I also love chocolate, coffee, and reading (if you combine these all on a beach...even better!!). I look forward to getting to know all of you throughout the year!
