8th Grade ENGLISH Late Policy

Welcome to Ms. Smith's 8th grade English homework site.  At this site, students and parents can keep track of all English assignments.  These assignments can be homework, projects, blogs, worksheets, online assignments or upcoming tests and quizzes.  Make sure to check each Friday that you have completed all of the assignments for the previous week and then check again every Monday to plan the assignments given for the upcoming week.

Aside from independent reading in High and Advanced English classes, homework is mostly a reminder to complete any unfinished classwork for students who were absent from class or who need more time to complete and check their work.  Classwork/Homework is often for additional skill practice and is important for preparation and participation in the following day of class.
