Northern Elementary is nestled on the main campus of the Northern York County School District.  Flanked by the nature trail, soccer fields and Northern Middle and Northern High School, our school enjoys a cozy, picturesque setting for learning.  Home to over 400 students in grades K-5, Northern Elementary enthusiastically serves as the elementary site for English as a Second Language and Autism Support programming in the district.  

The close partnership of PTO and faculty works to foster an environment focused on cultivating caring, courteous, courageous, creative, committed young citizens. We believe in dreaming BIG, sharing our LIGHT with others, and making our world better through our actions and daily deeds.

Moreover, Northern Elementary remains focused on student achievement and scaffolding students to reach their full potential. We believe that every child deserves quality instruction and a differentiated approach to personal success.  Data-driven, engaging instruction, coupled with positive relationships guides our daily focus and interaction.
