MEET THE TEACHER:
Mrs. Linda Ulrich graduated from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA in 1984 with an A.B. degree in English. She next attended Lesley College in Cambridge, MA, and graduated in 1985 with a Massachusetts teaching certificate and a M.Ed. degree. After a year of substitute teaching, she became a 3rd grade teacher at Glen Urquhart School in Beverly Farms, MA. Mrs. Ulrich next followed her husband to Germany for one year, where she taught 3rd grade for U.S. Army children at Erlangen Elementary School in Nuernberg.
The next 18 years were spent at home in MA and PA raising her four children with her husband, Frank. Mrs. Ulrich's grown-up children are now working as an engineer, a captain in the U.S. Army, a custom kitchen/bathroom renovator, and a nurse. All four Ulrich children attended Dillsburg Elementary School.
The 2022-23 school year will be Mrs. Ulrich's 14th year teaching 4th grade at DES after three busy years of substitute teaching at all levels throughout our school district. She holds a Level II PA Teaching certificate, and is tenured by the school district. This year Mrs. Ulrich will be the ELA (Reading) and PA History teacher for all 4th graders on the Hammock/Ulrich team, and will be the Writing teacher for her homeroom students.
When she is not teaching or taking care of her family, Mrs. Ulrich enjoys reading, traveling, baking, Zumba, and spending time with her grandchildren. She considers her work at Dillsburg Elementary as her dream job, and looks forward to a wonderful year working with your children:)
