I have been at NES for 5 years, this will be my sixth. During those 5 years I taught Extended Day Kindergarten.  While teaching kindergarten I  completed my Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction through Kansas University's online program. 

I am thrilled to be back in the 4th grade classroom! Ironically, the very classroom where I will be teaching in is where my journey at NES started as a long term sub in 2014. I have also taught 3rd grade at Shippensburg Area School District and 5th grade at Carlisle Area School District. 

Let me share a little about my self outside of the professional lens. I am the mother of two great kids, Sophia (8) and Clyde (5). We have three dogs (rottweilers) who we adore. Teaching runs in my family, my husband and brother are also teachers, but in other districts. Our family is pretty adventurous and enjoys the outdoors. We enjoy kayaking, bike riding on the local rail to trail, hiking, and finding creatures along the way. One of our favorite things to do is travel to new places and explore.
