I am very excited for the start of the 2019-2020 school year which will begin my 22nd year of teaching!  This will be my 15th year teaching in the Northern York County School District of which I've taught 3rd grade and 5th grade.  I have previously taught 5th grade for six years in the Penn Manor School District in Lancaster County and 1 year in fourth grade in the Baltimore City School District.

I am looking forward to working with 3rd graders at South Mountain Elementary this year! 
    • I graduated from Penn State University and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. 
    • I also have certification in Early Childhood Education from Penn State as well. 
    • I have earned my Master's Equivalency at Millersville University by taking graduate courses in Gifted Education. 
    • My husband and I have 2 daughters.  Brianna is currently attending York College and is in the nursing program. Abbey is in 10th grade in the Northern York County School District. We also have a very active Boxer named Harley.
    • I grew up in Western Pennsylvania, so needless to say...... BLACK and GOLD are some of my favorite colors!  :)
