• Reading homework will be assigned!  The expectation is that homework will be completed by the due date.  Homework should be completed to the best of the student's ability.  If homework isn't completed on time, it will be completed the next day during recess.  Homework is used as a tool to check for comprehension and mastery of skills.  Your child will read 6 independent chapter books this year.  They will be expected to keep a reading journal and complete activities that are associated to the book they are reading.  Please help me by encouraging your child to read every night!
