My name is Mrs. Reed. This is my eighteenth year of teaching as a Reading Specialist at Dillsburg Elementary School. I graduated from Millersville University with an Early Childhood and Elementary Education degree. Later, I received my Reading Specialist certification and Master's degree in Reading. As a life-long learner, I have continued my education, receiving my Principal and Supervisory certificate from Shippensburg University. I also completed a writing instruction certificate from West Chester University.

I live in Dillsburg with my husband, Mr. Reed, and our energetic labs Scooter and Boomer. My favorite activities are spending time with my family, reading, playing frisbee golf, kayaking, and going to Hershey Bears hockey games.

I am a very active member of the Kiwanis Club of Dillsburg. This invloves doing service in the community focused on young children, such as Youth Impact Project, Special Olympics, and Head Start of Wellsville.

My goal as a teacher is to instill the love that I have for reading and writing to my students.
