Meet Mrs. Kleckner

  • My name is Carly Kleckner and I am excited to meet the new families that will be apart of the NOLA program this year. I grew up in Mechanicsburg PA and attended Mechanicsburg Area School District. After graduation, I attended Messiah College and graduated with a dual major in Early Childhood and Special Education. I also have my Masters of Education from Walden University.

I have always loved teaching our youngest learners becasue children at this age are so excited to learn, and I get to help set the stage for their future learning experiences. A quote from Ernest Boyer sums up my view of students and learning "Children are our most precious resource. In the end, they are all we have. And if we as a nation cannot help the coming generation, if we cannot prepare all children for learning for life, then just what will bring America together?" My goal is to work to help all children love to learn, and start them off on a lifelong journey of learning.

Some of my favorite activities outside of the classroom include playing softball and field hockey, playing any type of yard game, reading, going thrift store shopping, and making crafts for my home or the classroom.

I am looking forward to working with you and getting to know your child this year! Please let me know if you have any questions and I will be speaking to you soon.
