• We have outdoor recess everyday, unless inclement weather forces us to play inside. Please make sure your child comes to school wearing appropriate footwear so they can move about our playground equipment safely.

    Rules to help kindness grow on our Kindergarten playground:

     

    1. Keep your hands to yourself.

    2.  Don't play with the tanbark.

    3. If a friend/classmate gets hurt, check on him/her.  Offer kind words and help.

    4.  Use the slide steps, don't linger at the top of the slide, and slide down on your bottom.

    5.  Chase games are played on the ground. 

    Base is the grey wall below the blue window.

    To tag, tap his/her shoulder gently.

    6. Stay off the fence and stay away from the gate.

    7. No pretend guns/weapons, karate chops, or kicks.

    8. Ask teacher for permission before going inside one at a time to the bathroom.

    9. Say please and thank you when asking for help, tissues, or shoe tying.
