All About Mrs. Lane
Hi, My name is Heather Lane. I am excited to be your Kindergarten teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. This will be my 7th year teaching. Currently I live in Camp Hill, PA with my husband, Jeremy and our zoo of fur babies. We just got married in May of 2021. I have a lot of different teaching experiences, but recently you could have found me in 3rd grade or 1st grade at SME. A little more about me is that I particularly love being adventurous and enjoying time outdoors. I am excited to work collaboratively with the Kindergarten team to make this the best school year yet!
Education
I am a Northern High School graduate and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Penn State University in 2015. I am also currently working towards obtaining my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with a children's literacy connection. I plan to continue on in my studies to pursue a certificate in teacher leadership also.
Hobbies and Interests
In my spare time I love to travel all around the world. My favorite vacation spot is Cancun, Mexico. I have also traveled to Belize, Honduras, Dominican Republic and all over the United States. When I am not traveling, I love to spend time with my four pups and kitty at home. Their names are Bentley, Gracie, Olive, Ronnie, and Rylie. They keep me on my toes, as they are full of energy. I also love to spend time by the pool, shop, kayak, and spend time with my family. I am usually always busy, but I love every minute of it!
