- Bring to School: Please send a backpack with your child every day. Students are expected to arrive with their provided purple take-home folder and do not need any additional folders or notebooks. All necessary materials will be provided. Please do not send toys or other distracting items to school with your child unless for a specified share day or predetermined class reward.
- Homework: Please check your child's purple folder every evening for important papers or forms. While there is no graded homework, below are suggestions to support your child:
-Read as often as possible! You may read to your child or listen to him/her read to you.
-Practice sight words
-Practice math facts
-Encourage your child to tell you in detail about the day's events! - Birthdays: We love to celebrate! Please check with me before sending any treats- policies are subject to change in light of COVID. If your child has a summer birthday, we will celebrate toward the end of the school year. Please do not pass out party invitations at school unless there is one for each student in the class.
- Water Bottles: Each child may bring a water bottle to keep in the room. Please write your child's initials on the bottle and ensure the bottle is filled with water only. Students should bring home water bottles each day to refill or clean them.
- Snack: While snack time is not a part of our schedule, students are permitted to bring a small snack to enjoy at the end of the day.
