My Booklist

  • Reading is such an important part of your child's life at school!  We can build the connections between school and home by talking about and adding to your child's reading bank.  Since our reading series is literature based, many of the stories read in class are part of a series of books which can be found in  home and local libraries, as well as, book stores. Currently, the following series and authors are highlighted in our reading lessons:

    • Henry and Mudge series by Cynthia Rylant
    • Days with Frog and Toad series by Arnold Lobel
    • Eric Carle books
    • Mr. Putter and Tabby series by Cynthia Ryland
    • Folktales by various authors (emphasize sequencing)
    • Photo essays by various authors
