Bonjour! I am the 8th grade French I teacher at Northern Middle School.  I also teach the 7th grade World Language class.  I received my M.S. in Secondary Education/French from Penn State.  During the course of my teaching career, I have taught all levels of French (Exploratory to Advanced Placement Language and Literature) in schools in Pennsylvania and Virginia.  I have visited France several times and have also been to other French-speaking countries of the world.  On several occasions, I have organized student trips to France and participated in exchange programs with French students and adults.

I bring my passion of the French language and its culture to the classroom.  I strive to help my students develop  proficiency in French and the confidence to use it to communicate.  I hope to help them gain an awareness of the cultures of the world in which French is spoken.
