Educational Background:

I am a graduate from Eastern Michigan University, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in K-12th Physical Education and Health.  At Eastern Michigan, I competed as a Division I gymnast.  

This is now my 19th year teaching.  After college I taught Physical Education for 4 years at Sykesville Middle School in Carroll County, MD., then moved to the area and taught 1 year at Mechanicsburg Middle School.  I got married to my wonderful husband in June 2009.  I taught at Wellsville Elementary School for 2 years.  I have been teaching Physical Education at Northern Middle School for 12 years now.  My husband and I have two boys who are 11 & 7 years old.         

I coached volleyball for 3 years at Century High School in MD and I have been coached gymnastics for 21 years.  I received my Masters Degree in Exercise Science from McDaniel College in 2010.  I love being at Northern Middle School and looking forward to another great year!
