Physical Education Policies

  • At the beginning of the school year a powerpoint presentation is posted on Schoology reviewing requirements and expectations for PE class. The following guidelines are the basic requirements for Physical Education Class:

For your child's safety as well as the liability involved, sneakers must be worn or brought to school the day your child has Physical Education scheduled. If a child does not have his/her sneakers it may keep them from completing the daily activities, which will affect their grade. Proper footwear includes tennis-type/sneaker shoes--those with a flat bottom (no heel) and the foot fully covered. Preferable tie sneakers so that they do not slip off when striking/kicking. Clogs, crocs, sandals, dress shoes, boot-like shoes, and any heeled shoes are NOT appropriate types of footwear for Physical Education Class.

Students also need to bring a change of clothes for PE if they don't wear the proper PE attire to school. We also strongly encourage students to wear deodorant. Please have them dress according to the weather because we do go outside when weather permits.

Students must have their hair tied back, wear no jewelry, and no gum is allowed.
