    Tips to Help You Succeed

    • Utilize teachers and team websites. Many useful resources can be found on these pages such as, daily homework assignments, extra credit opportunities, online books, printable assignments, and more.

    • Check your grades via Schoology at least twice per week. Check to make sure no assignments are missing.

    • Have a set time and routine to study and complete homework at night. Establish a good routine and expectation for yourself.

    • Sign up for "Remind" text or e-mail homework reminders. You can receive daily text messages or e-mails reminding you of your homework assignments.

    • Attend Homework Club, 6th grade has homework club on Wednesdays until 3:15. Just make sure your parents notify the school that you have permission to attend as well as a ride home.

    • Get organized, Use different folders for each class. Use your agenda daily to write down all assignments. Use a specific folder for all homework assignments that must be returned for a grade. Mark one side of the folder "to do" and one side "hand in". Bring this folder to each class and home every night. Complete all work in the "to do side" and place it in the "hand in side". Hand in each assignment from the "hand in side" during class the following day.

    • Keep up to date on assignments. The easiest way to lower your grade is by failing to turn in assignments and earning 0% for missing or 50% for late assignments. Try your best to always hand in your work on time. Communicate with your teachers if you missed school or were not able to turn in an assignment on time for any other reason.
