Homework Policy:
- Students will only be given homework on things that they have worked in the classroom. They will never be given homework on something that they have never seen before.
- Please check your child's purple folder every night. Homework and papers than need to be signed will be on their take-home folder on the bring back to school side. Students will also be bringing home their take-home everynight. Please complete the back side of the folder with your child. We will complete the front and inside of the folder at school. Students will be sharing what they did the previous evening during our circle time.
- I have a homework chart in the class. The students get a star every night that their homework is complete. Even if they don't have homework to do, if they complete their take-home folder they will get a star for that. We will have homework parties throughout the year! ( I have sent home a dry erase marker at the beginning of the year that can stay at home. If you need another one, please let me know.)
- If for any reason your child is unable to complete a homework assignment at home, please send a note in their purple folder explaining the situation.
