Hello Students, Parents, and Guardians:

I am Mrs. Harris, the 7 White reading teacher and Team Leader. The 2021-2022 school year will mark my 11th year as a reading teacher at Northern Middle school.

My family and I reside in Arendtsville, Pa, home of the Apple Harvest. My husband and I have two daughters. Our oldest daughter, Annabel, is in high school. Our eight year old daughter, Miriam, is in third grade this year.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, spending time outdoors in both our backyard and the local state forests. Other interests of mine are gardening, renovating our house, and naturally, reading. 

I received my bachelors of English and a secondary certification from Shippensburg University and my MS in Education from Wilkes University. 

Teaching is my passion and I look forward to helping the students further develop their reading skills this year.
