The 2015-2016 school year brought changes to our elementary grading system. We will no longer be giving letter grades. We have gone to a number system for grading. The numbers your child(ren) receive on their work will help guide myself and them towards goals we set up in the beginning of the year.
Numbers will mean the following:
4 = Exceeding Expections (Student can do the skill without mistakes and can help others)
3 = Proficient (Student can do it by themselves, making little mistakes.)
2 = Developing (Student still need help with the skill, but are starting to understand)
1 = Novice (Student doesn't understand the skill and can't do it independently YET.)
