About Mr. Alioth
-
Starting his teaching career in 1992, Mr. Alioth is a graduate of Messiah College, earning his master's degree from Penn State Harrisburg. Originally from Long Island, New York, he and his wife are the proud parents of four beautiful daughters: Jourdan, Jenna, Corinne, and Grace. Members of Christian Life Assembly in Camp Hill, he and Lisa sing in the choir and act in the dramas. A CLA Men's Quartet member, he and the guys are hoping to perform the near future (feel free to book us). In addition to acting and singing, Mr. Alioth enjoys competitive sailing, serving as Social Chair of the Pinchot Sailing Club. When not out racing the family's sailboat, a 15-foot Chrysler Dagger, he occasionally finds a few days each year to head up to the Adirondack High Peaks. On a quest since 1982 to hike all 46 of the High Peaks, he climbed Allen and Lower Wolfjaw in July of 2009 to earn his 46er rating (#6476).
Epilogue: In the spring of 2013, he and his hiking partners braved 38 inches of record snowfall on Whiteface Mountain; though abandoning the attempt a quarter mile from the top, they eventually summited a month later.
