Vocabulary Units:  Each marking period will feature a vocabulary unit of 20 words.  Study each unit, focusing on spelling, parts of speech, definitions, synonyms, and antonyms.  In-class review will include our famous Word Power Cartoons, so get ready to be creative!   Tests will include spelling, meaning, parts of speech, and usage.  During fourth marking period we will cover two units, enabling us to reach the 100-word mark.  Save those units: our final test will be comprehensive.
