            In the Technology Education program in eighth grade, students will be learning about manufacturing by building a project out of wood.

     

            Students will work by themselves to build a project from wood.  Students must complete Bill of Materials before beginning to build their project in the shop.  Students must also receive a 100% on the safety test before working in the shop.  Students will use the following machines and tools to build their project.

    Requirements:

            100% on safety test before students are allowed to work in shop

            Clean shop after use

            Finish
            Gluing
            Overall appearance of project
            Test and quizzes
