• Welcome, 7th Graders!  This is my eighth year teaching science at Northern Middle School.  Before coming to Northern I taught for seven years in the Baltimore City Public School System. I am a born and raised Yorker who attended both Central York and Red Lion Area School Districts.  My undergrad is in Sport and Exercise Science from Messiah College and I have a master's degree in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University.  My wife is a part-time teacher at a homeschool co-op and a stay-at-home mom for our 5 kids.  I have a daughter who is 15 and four sons who are 12, 10, 7, and 5.  While I am not taking care of students or my own kids (which is a very small amount of time), I enjoy playing and watching sports, reading, and working around the house.
