7th and 8th Grade Choir 

Who:  For anyone in 7th or 8th  grade at NMS or any homeschool student in 7th or 8th grade who lives in the district.  If you like to sing, this choir is for you, no experience necessary!  

What: The purpose of 7th grade choir is to introduce students to singing in 3/4 parts.  Students will discover their voice part and learn to sing in harmony.  8th graders will be singing in 3/4 parts and will delve deeper into vocal technique and music theory.  

When:  2 rehearsals a cycle. 8th Grade Period period 2, 7th grade Period 9.

Where:  Middle School Auditorium

Why:  For the joy of singing!  

About:  This choir sings mostly in 3-part harmonies but there are opportunities to try 4 part singing.
