About Mrs. Baechtle

  •           I am so thrilled to be starting my ninth (wow!) year teaching Kindergarten at Northern Elementary School!  I spent five years teaching extended day Kindergarten, and this will be my third year teaching part-time.  I enjoy being a part of the 'Northern family' so much!  I am proud to say that I grew up in Dillsburg and graduated from Northern High School in 2008.  I then went on to attend Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA.  I graduated from there in January, 2012, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a certification in Elementary Education, K-6.  I also have a Master's of Education degree in Teaching and Learning: Special Education from Liberty University.

My husband, Caleb and I have been married for eight years.  We have three boys - a 1st grader at NES, a 4-year-old and a 20 month old.  We enjoy spending our time outdoors - camping, archery and swimming!  I also enjoy reading, baking and spending time with family and friends.

I am very passionate about what I do and am very excited to spend the year with your kids!  Parent involvement is very important to me, and I want everyone to feel connected to what is going on in the classroom.  If you ever have questions about anything, please don't hesitate to contact me.  It's going to be a great year in Camp Kindergarten!
