Each year we have the chance to compete in the local and district Special Olympic meets. These are exciting days where your child is the star athlete. 

Even if your child is not participating in an event at the Special Olympics, I would still prefer and highly encourage him/her to attend. Students from our class, Mrs. Grove's class, and Northern Middle School and High School will be competing, and it would provide an opportunity for the students to encourage and support their classmates and Northern at a sporting event.

**In order for your child to participate in these Special Olympics meets, he/she will need to have a current physical on file. This comes directly from the Special Olympics office and they will not make exceptions!
