DUE TO COVID-19, ALL ADVENTURE TRIPS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
Dear Parents and Guardians,
For several years, our classrooms participated in one adventure-based educational experience each month. Each activity helped our students learn the value of teamwork, listening skills, positive thinking, and self-confidence. Since the program has been such a success for our students, we will continue these activities during this school year.
Each month, we will plan activities with Mr. Shipp (an Adventure Education Specialist from Yellow Breeches Education Center) that reinforces the positive behaviors taught in class and during Adventure trips. Students, through positive classroom behavior, will earn this special day each month. We will have at least four off-campus field trips this year; be sure to check our monthly calendars and weekly newsletters for dates and locations.
Since physical activities (such as climbing) are part of this program, several forms need to be completed in order for each student to participate. These forms have been provided by Yellow Breeches Education Center. Please take the time to read through each form, fill them out completely, and return them to school as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please feel free to contact us. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Ensminger
