Northern Elementary School

My name is Connie Shuff, and I am entering my eighth year at Northern Elementary School as a Title 1 Reading Specialist.  Previously, I taught kindergarten for 6 years and spent several years working as an adjunct instructor teaching courses on child development and literacy in early childhood. I graduated from Messiah College in 2004 with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education and then from Shippensburg University in 2007 with a M.E. degree in Reading.  Since receiving these degrees, I have continued to study literacy instruction through professional development experiences and various courses. I recently completed a graduate program in which I earned a Literacy Coach Letter of Endorsement.  I am always striving to learn more about how to provide and implement the best literacy instruction in my classroom.
