I graduated from Central Dauphin East High School (1994), California University of PA with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Mathematics Education (1999), and Penn State University with a Masters Degree of Education in Training & Development (2009). I began my first three years of teaching in Virginia before moving back home to PA. Some of my accomplishments include Rookie Teacher of the Year 1999-2000 and Teacher of the Year 2005-2006.

My teaching philosophy: I decided to become a math teacher because I wanted to prove to students that everyone can do math! I try every day to instill confidence in the students I teach. I strive to take the fear out of math, and help students to have a more positive outlook about math.
My hobbies: Running, watching my kids play baseball, being outside with my two kids.
