Welcome to the home page of the NHS MIni-THON! Four Diamonds Mini-THONs are fun-filled events for students of all ages which inspire teamwork, leadership, and creativity while empowering young people through philanthropy and service in the fight to conquer childhood cancer. Mini-THONs are modeled after the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON), and have been making a difference in the lives of childhood cancer patients and their families for more than 20 years. 

Four Diamonds’ mission is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children treated at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital and their families through superior care, comprehensive support, and innovative research. Four Diamonds offsets the cost of treatment that insurance does not cover, as well as expenses that may affect the welfare of the child. Four Diamonds supports the medical team that cares for the children and funds pediatric cancer research through start-up grants and the Four Diamonds Pediatric Cancer Research Institute. Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital is a top-ranked research hospital, and is a member of the Pediatric Oncology Experimental Therapeutics Investigator's Consortium (POETIC), a group that unites oncologists across the country with the goal of finding a cure.
