Hello!  This is my first year at Northern High School, and I am very excited to be here!  I grew up and went to school in New Oxford, Pennsylvania.  I received my undergraduate degree at Lock Haven University where I majored in Health and Physical Education.  Since graduating college, I worked two years at the Huntingdon Area School District as an elementary Health and Physical Education teacher, and at Carlisle Area School District last year.  

A few hobbies that I enjoy outside of school are hunting and fishing.  Being that I am a HUGE sports fan, I look forward to attending a variety of sporting events here at Northern.  My favorite sport is baseball, and I had the opportunity to coach for the past two years.  My wife and I are relocating to the Dillsburg area, and are thrilled to be apart of the Northern community.

I got into teaching because I have a strong passion to make a difference in the lives of my students.  I truly enjoy coming to school each and every day where I have the opportunity to teach subjects that are critical for success outside of the school environment.  Individuals use key components of both Health and Driver's Education daily, which accounts for why these topics are near and dear to my heart.
