What is DECA?

DECA's sole purpose is to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in the areas of marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. DECA is present in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Northern's business courses provide students with winning strategies for DECA competition at all skill levels. Students gain valuable, real-life experience by presenting their ideas in front of judges at competitions, comeptitive events, team projects, and more! The focus of attention on extemporaneous decision making by an individual or group is most important when given realistic experiences for all DECA events.

THE BEAR'S DEN

 Not only do DECA students participate in competitive events, but they also have the opportunity to run Northern's school store, The Bear's Den. Our store sells various school merchandise such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and our very own "Growl Towels." Look for specific times and dates posted in the Commons Area as to when it will be open! Looking forward to doing business with you!
