    A note from Taegen...
     
    Hello, Northern DECA!
     
    This year has proven more difficult than other, and that's a fact! With school starting, sports practicing, clubs beginning, and students back in the building, it can get a bit hectic at time. I assure you that with the help of the Northern DECA Officers, it will be a smooth transition back into the wonderful world of DECA. 
     
    Speaking of...our state theme this year is A Whole New World! The year of 2020 has been super unpredictable, but what I know is this...it is nothing we have ever experienced before. Our state theme coincides with what us young adults are living through right now. Let's be positive and optimistic about the year to come; however, the District Competition will be held virtually. The State Competition is being talked about for next year, and I am praying that it will be held live (somehow). I have some great ideas for Northern specifically, that I would love to share with the Northern officers, so more information to come!
     
    I want to wish everyone a great school year, fulls of friends, learning, and good times! And of course, WINNING! Reach out to your Northern Officers: Haley Hosman, Dylan Rubacha, Tommy Molsky, Lauren Pryor, and Olivia Caperelli, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding Northern DECA.
