  • Classroom Expectations

    1. Show respect for everyone in the class as well as for the class itself.
      • Wait your turn to talk and always raise your hand.
      • Listen to and follow all directions.
      • Value the opinions and efforts of your classmates.
      • Use appropriate voices when working together.
      • Store cell phone in assigned space in the classroom organizer.
    2. Take responsibility for your actions.
      • When absent, it is your job to find out what was missed.
      • Complete all make-up work in a timely fashion.
      • If you behave badly, accept the consequences.
    3. Give 100% at all times.
      • Arrive to class on time every day.
      • Participate in class in English AND in Spanish.
      • Bring necessary materials: notebook, pencil, paper, homework, etc.
      • Have work completed on the due date.

  • Homework Policy

    • Homework will be assigned very frequently.
    • Unless noted, homework is always due by the following class period.
    • Homework may be graded for completion or correctness.
    • Late homework will never be accepted, unless due to an excused absence.

     

  • Tutoring & Make-Up Work

    Tutoring sessions before or after school are available upon request. This time can also be used to complete make-up work, quizzes or tests (make-up work can be completed during study halls as well). Seeking help is YOUR responsibility and must be scheduled in advanced.

    Peer tutors are also available during study halls. Please speak with Sra. if you would like to tutor or be tutored.
