Through FFA students have the opportunity to compete in an aray of Career Development Events (CDE). The Nursery/Landscape CDE is most closely related to this course.  Below you can find the link for more information regarding the Nursery/Landscape competition.

Nursery/Landscape CDE

Landscape design, construction and maintenance will be the focus of this course as students investigate landscape architecture, hardscaping techniques, turf grass management, and sustainable land use planning. Practical experience will be gained through projects and lab exercises as students will design, install, and maintain new and existing landscapes throughout the school and community. All students are FFA members through this course.
