In October, NAHS won third place in the 2009 Giant A+ Creative Display contest. In recognition of Hunger Action Awareness month, members of Student Council and NAHS held a food drive at the high school. Then the NAHS constructed a giant lunch box, complete with a sandwich, apple slices and a carton of milk to display our food collection.

Northern was awarded 10,000 Giant A+ points for our efforts. The non-perishable food items were donated to Project Share to help feed needy families in our community.
