Welcome to Mrs. Bonner's Academic Government class.  This course is designed learn about government, how it affects your life, and how you can be an active participant.  A lot of this will be within the context of current events.

I know government might not be the most interesting of subjects, but my goal is to find a way to relate it to you, so you understand & realize how it does impact you.  Please remember I am HAPPY to help you study, offer suggestions for studying, or answer any questions.  If you ever need help, feel free to stop by before school starts – I am usually available by 7:10 am at the latest – 4th period prep, 5^th period study hall, 7^th period lunch, or after school.  I have no problems meeting with you so that you are SUCCESSFUL, you just need to let me know that you need help.  

Remember that successful studying starts with filling out your review sheets!  It is always easier to fill them out as we go along rather than cram at the end of the chapter.

Make sure you check the homework listed in Schoology for upcoming assignments & tests but realize THE OFFICIAL RECORD for due dates is kept on the WHITE BOARD in my CLASSROOM.  If there are changes they will ALWAYS be reflected on the white board, but are not guaranteed to be reflected on Schoology immediately.
