     M.A.T.H. Workshop

    H J E

M.A.T.H. Workshop: Your learner will engage in MATH workshop all year long! M.A.T.H. workshop stands for my facts, at my seat, teacher's choice, and hands on. How it works:

    1. 5 minute Math Warm Up Question or Fluency Task: Learners complete this in their home base.

    2. M.A.T.H. Rotation: Math players will be assigned a math team. Learners will work together or with another team player to complete an assigned task at each center. Learners will then be given time & opportunity to engage in a task of their choice after.

    3. Closure: Learners will reflect & complete a M.A.T.H. rubric and how well they focused throughout the workshop day!

Toolkit Above is a picture of a sample toolkit that may go home with your learner!

Please know the math textbook is rarely used. Please refer to class handouts, newsletters, and toolkits sent home instead.
