• At Central York we took on the Panthers in a non-conference dual meet.  The Central girls team prevailed 111-65, while our Polar Bear Boys Team did what they had to do to pull out an exciting 84-83, come-from-behind victory!  At the end of the first week of the season, the Girls team is 1-2 overall and 1-0 in the Colonial Division, while the Boys are now 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the division.

Our results against Central contained some very promising results and some additional opportunities to improve.  Over both meets we recorded another 41 Career Best Times and 17 Career First Swims!  If you look at the totals since our meet against Wyoming Seminary last Saturday, overall we posted 132 Career Best Times and 54 Career First Swims.  That's very impressive, particularly this early in the season.

These past three meets have provided the coaching staff with some very important information on where we are as we head into a critical Colonial Division contest on Tuesday against the coop team from the combined Trinity and Camp Hill High Schools.  If both our Girls and Boys teams are to achieve their Team Goals for the season, we're going to have to dig deep on Tuesday, as our opponents have some very fast swimmers on their rosters.  I've already started working on laying out their possible strategies and how we stack up and I fully expect it to be a very exciting meet!

We're off to a great start.  Let's keep the momentum going!
