Wyoming Seminary (Exhibition)

  • Today Wyoming Seminary visited and the scrimmage provided us with an opportunity to gauge how we're doing with preparing for our journey together. 

    Let's take a look at a few facts.  Today we...
    * Posted 44 Career Best Times, meaning we swam the fastest we ever have in our lives in an event.
    * Recorded 8 In-Season Best Times, meaning we swam faster than we ever have during the regular season (not rested and shaved).
    * Had 11 additional swims that were significantly faster than in the exact same event last year against SEM.
    * Recorded 11 Career First Times, meaning 11 people swam an event legally for the very first time!

    If you had some great swims today, congratulations!  Monday we'll continue to work on those things that will make us even better.

    If you experienced disappointment today, remember the feeling and draw upon it on Monday when you're practicing with a purpose and the next time you step up to the blocks.

    Remember....victory is not final and defeat is not fatal.
