That's the word I would use to describe the vast number of performances I saw today when we hosted York Suburban.  It started with Kate and Ross engaging in their first diving competition ever.  They're both off to a great start and they certainly inspired their teammates to give their all when the swimming part of the meet began.

From the very first Girls 200 Medley Relay to the final Boys 400 Free Relay, one incredible performance followed another.  We not only swam fast, but we competed with a tremendous amount of desire to do well for our team.  There seemed to be a realization that you were part of something bigger and more important than yourself.

That selfless, team-inspired motivation resulted in....

* 42 Career Best Times

* 6 Career First Scores/Times

* 9 In-Season Best Times

* 13 Times that were faster than in the same event last year against Suburban

Perhaps most impressive were the many times we won very close, very exciting races....for our TEAM!  Inspiring.
