Despite having a number of athletes that were ill, injured or recovering, we still produced some very good results yesterday.  The boys team really held their own against what may prove to be the best team in our division.  At the end of the meet Big Spring Head Coach, Les Stover, for whom I have a great deal of respect, went out of his way to commend our boys team on the outstanding way they competed.  

Our girls team prevailed and remains undefeated in the Colonial Division.

I'm encouraged by some of our key stats.  We posted:

* 22 Career Best Times/Scores

* 3 Career First Times

* 2 In-Season Best Times

* 11 Season Best Times

* 11 Swims faster this year than in last year's meet in the exact same event

The final scores were:

* Girls:  Northern 103 - Big Spring 80

* Boys: Big Spring 105 - Northern 75
