I expected the CV Eagles would be a formidable opponent and, indeed, they were.  At the same time - despite training very hard and completing six dual meets in nineteen days - we had some very impressive results today.

The final scores were:

CV Girls 135 - Northern 51 (2-3 Overall, 2-0 Colonial Division)

CV Boys 130.5 - Northern 49.5 (1-4 Overall, 1-1 Colonial Division)

We wrapped up the first part of our dual meet season and now take a break from competing and focus on training over the Christmas Break.  Our next test will be against non-division opponent West York on Tuesday, Jan. 3rd.

I'm very pleased with our accomplishments throughout our first three weeks and where we are at this point in the season.  Both our veteran and new athletes have shown excellent results and progress.  Based on where we are, I'm very excited about our prospects for the second part of our season.

I consider myself blessed to be associated with such a fine group of committed, mature, and hard working young men and women and their families.
