  • We made quite a statement today!

    And with...
    * 32 Career Best Times/Scores
    * 3 Career First Times
    * 4 Season Best Times/Scores
    * 5 In-Season Best Times
    ....we added an exclamation point!

    Our Girls Team dominated the very capable Rockets by a final score of 115-65, bringing our Colonial Division record to 3-1 and overall record to 4-5.  Our boys did extremely well, posting a strong win by a score of 112-55 and moving their division record to 2-2 and overall record to 4-5 as well.

    Before the meet, I told you it was important that you show the coaches what you're capable of right now, to help us formulate our plan for the post-season.  What you achieved today was very helpful.

    I also said it is critically important that you attend as much of each and every practice as possible at this time of the season, so you can continue to make important additions and refinements to your training foundation in preparation for our final dual meets and the post-season.  This time and type of training is critical to a successful end of the season.

    We have another big week of competition next week, with our fifth Colonial Division dual meet against our traditional rival Trinity-CampHill at home on Tuesday and a non-division meet at AAA Palmyra next Thursday.

    In order to finish strong, we must re-commit ourselves to staying focused, staying/getting healthy and training hard...with a purpose!  We're on the home stretch of the regular season and it has the potential to be an exciting ending.

    Great job today Bears!!!
