Trinity

  • What an exciting, emotional, memorable day yesterday!

I'll start with the Boys Team.  You continue to get better and better, faster and faster.  Yesterday you posted 26 Career Best Times, 4 Career First swims and 2 Season Best times!  I know you did your very best against what is probably the most capable AA boys team in the District and, possibly, the state of PA.  The final score of 126.5 to 56.5 brings your overall record to 4-6 and 2-3 in the Colonial Division with one division meet remaining against Shippensburg tomorrow.

Girls...your commanding 102-78 victory against the Shamrock-Lions of Trinity+CampHill High Schools allowed you to reclaim at least a share of the 2015-16 Colonial Division Championship!!!  I told you before the meet that our lineup was very strong on paper, but that you had to "bring it" in the pool if you wanted to prevail...and you did!  With 10 Career Best Times, 5 In-Season Best Times, and 9 Season Best Times!  From start to finish, it was one of our strongest performances of the season. In your last dual meet in our pool this season, you also left your mark when the 200 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay teams both posted new Northern Pool Records!  The record-setting teams were Kate Luft, Nicole Andrews, Becca Luft and Caitlynn Weeden in the Medley and Caitlynn, Rachel Eby, Gabby Lodovici and Becca in the 400 Free Relay.  The impressive and satisfying win brings your overall record to 9-1 and your Colonial Division record to 5-0.  As I said after the meet, we have some unfinished business.  If you would like to own the Division Championship outright and not have to share it with Trinity+CampHill (who ended with a 5-1 record), then we need to prevail against the Greyhounds of Shippensburg tomorrow evening when we travel there for our final (6:00 PM) dual meet of the season.

Your fate is in your hands.
